| Sub And Amp Install Question Hi, I'm really quite new to everything car audio wise and I was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm trying to install a Dual® - Two 1100W 12" Subwoofers and a Pioneer 480 Watt Amp into my 94' Toyota Celica...except I have no clue what I'm doing =/ If anyone could give any directions/tips/advice or anything that could help me out that would be really great heh...thanks and sorry for being so stupid. |

| If you really have no idea, I'd recommend the following shops. Traffic Jams-Dorchester, Matt or John(good price, good job) Lets Talk Wireless and More - Cambridge, Rob or Herc (good price, good job) High End Customs - Chelsea, Alex(cheap price, decent job) Boston Audio Design - Quincy, John (fair price, really good job) Sound In Motion - Brighton, Jim or Derek (best install in New England, but expensive) Its easier for me to tell you to go and get it done to walk you through it. There is way too much to teach you. My first recommendation is to return the equipment to Best Buy and buy good equipment at a Specialty store. You will not be happy with the Dual and Pioneer package's perfromance.

| Thanks, well I read some reviews on the Dual and it said that although they don't give off as much kick as a high end sub that they are decent for being such a cheap amp. And everything I've read up on said that Pioneer makes good amps...sooo basically I'm not looking for the greatest kick or power but something that is at least more power and kick then nothing but doesn't sound like complete shit. Do you know if what I read in other forums about the Dual being decent for it's price just not really powerful is a false statement or not? Thanks alot for your help. Oh, and I know there's tons of information heh but I was wondering if you knew of a site or somewhere where I could read up on and just learn basic terminology and the like....anyways....thanks =) |

| If you want a deal return your stuff and PM me. My office is in Waltham, I live in Lowell, I'll hook you up with MTX or Sony. I can sell you 1- 10" sub with a moderately powered amp that will destroy the Dual stuff. Dual was founded by the engineers of Jensen. The stuff is made overseas for cheap money. but you always get what you pay for! Why buy stuff thats "good enough" when in a few months or even weeks it will not be and you'll want to upgrade. My philosophy is do it once, do it right.
