Unhappy amp help

im new to the whole audio thing and I was wondering if someone could explain to me what the amps are for and where I put them in the call and what I hook them up to and shit and also what car deck is the best for its money that I can buy in the calgary area! thanks alot!

the amp powers speakers or speaker, like sub or surround sound mostly. it can mount any where youd like basically, like the trunk, sub box or right to the back of the rear seat if you have a blazer :wink: the connectins are easy. black is a ground which is amp to metal. blue is remote (tells the amp when to turn on) and that goes from the deck to the amp, then the power cord which goes from the battery to the amp. if you get a amp wiring kit then it will show you what goes where, its simple. the rest is just speaker wire. the best decks out there are alpine, clarion, nakamichi. if you need more info just IM me or reply.
