| what kind and how many amps do i need? i was planning on buying two rockford fosgate subs with 150-500 rms watts each.I need to know what kind ( 2 channel/4channel/mono amp) of amp i need and how many rms watts i need on the amp to keep it somewhat powerful without spending an arm and a leg.the exact kind of subs im thinking of are here.... | thanks for the help guys! I am going with a bandpass box. The amp i am currently looking at is the audiobahn a8002t amp which has 800 rms watts and it has two channels. That seems like a good choice.

| yeah, that should be fine. does the box have one terminal or two? if it has 2 and you desire more bass, you can run the subs bridged by putting the speaker wires together (+ ith +, - with -)then hook them to the amp with right + and left - (sometimes right - and left+, depends on the amp though it should say on the amp. you will notice a conciderable differance. Enjoy!
