Recommend a set of speakers?

Hello, I don't know a whole lot about the car audio industry, so I thought I'd ask for some help. I would like to upgrade the speakers in my '95 325is. I currently have a Kenwood Excelon X569 headunit using the car's stock amp with the stock speakers.

I hear a lot of people talk about the MB Quart line made for E36s, but I have a really hard time finding them for sale. Those would be nice, as I would like something I can just fit right in the factory holes without cutting up anything. I would like to replace the 3 in each front door and whatever is in back if possible/required (as to not have a tweeter hole that makes no noise, for example). I'm not concerned with huge subs in the trunk or anything, I just want a nice range with good quality and clarity. Some sub-less bass would be nice, if possible, though.

As for cost, cheaper is better, of course, I don't need to go crazy, but I'm open to about any suggestions.

check out diamond audio....their hex series components are amazing but on the expensive side(about as much as mb quart but cheaper than focal) but sound better than everything out there IMHO.

I would go with ADS or focal. The Quarts are nice but the highs sound a little hard a times.I took out my stock tweeters and both mids and rplaced the kicks and tweeters with 5 1/4 and tweeters in the tweeter location. If you are going go that route you'll want a tweeter with a low xover point.

How about stuff that just drops in? Is that possible? I ask this because I know in the somewhat near future I will be buying an E36 M3 and I'd like to be able to yank as much as possible back out of this car without too much trouble. Thus if I get speakers, it'd be nice if they were "plug-n-play", if you will.
