Removing a a cd player

Hey guys I need some Help I wanna take a Pionner Aftermarket cd player out of my ford escort and put it in my Avenger.....But I cant get the thing out of the escort.....I dont have the little metal tools that came with the cd player either...I have been trying to do this for 2 days now I figured I'd ask here Thanks in advance for the help

Use either a butter knife or a thin screwdriver and put it in each side, and carefully pry it out. Put enough pressure on the side to pop it out of the bracket, then do the other side. You should be able to do this pretty easily.
