| Common street channel for FRS Radios? Alright, I see a lot of people out now (me included) who keep those little FRS radios in their vehicles to communicate with others about stuff (races, cops, where to go...). Is there like a "de facto" standard channel that has been established for these? Kind like CBs have their road/trucking channel.

| I have a pair of these, and as far as I can tell because of their limited range (2 miles) they are mostly ment just for communication from one radio to another. Of course, if there are other people in the area with those types of radios who are on the same channel you may get some interfearence, but i dont think it's like CB's base channel 9 or 16 or whatever it is. |
