amp draining battery: HELP!

hey guys, tonight I installed my new subs and amp... everything is wired up correctly, it was working GREAT. I turned it off, and when I got back into my car to turn it on, the battery was dead. I got my friend to give me a jump, got home, turned it off... waited a min, tried to turn it on, and same prob. dead again.

I recently got a new battery, so I dont think my battery is the prob... I have 2 MTX Thunder 6000 10’ subs, and a pos Lightning Audio amp (just have that cause my friend gave it to me for $10 cause he got a new one, and I'm using it till I get a better amp)

ok, I figured out what was happening... I hooked up the ground wire to the negative part of the battery to just test it, and forgot to fix it when I was done . Guess I just closed the circut, and drained the battery. thanks anyway...
