JL Audio Stealthbox Question...

I'm thinking about getting the Stealthbox which consists of two 8inch subs for my 330i. I am not sure however if i can run these on the factory amp...i called Car Toys and he said i need to buy a dedicated amp to run these. I went on the JL audio website and i looked at the install instructions. The pictures and the instructions themselves did not mention anything about a dedicated amp...has anyone done this install???
