difference between grey and black Kicker L7

For the solobaric L7, on ebay there seems to be a difference in quality for the colors. I'm assuming that the grey ones are better quality. Am I right???

the grey ones are the newer version the same sub but just newer. I have one black one and one grey one. i cant tell any difference excepr tht the grey is the newer version than the back one
