iPod install pics

Got an iPod installed in your car? Let's see some pics! I'm looking to do something with mine, but I'm kinda up in the air about how to go about it.

I havn't installed my iPod yet because my car is in the shop (I crashed it, driving in the snow ) But when it gets back, since I don't use the cupholders, I was going to install a 'dock' into the cupholder. I'd use this installed underneath the cupholder, tap into the 12v, run a 1/8" cable up to the back of my HU with a 1/8" to RCA converter.

iPod install without wires out in the open of the car, or FM transmitter quality sound. Now all I need is somthing to hold the iPod in the cupholder and I have to be able to attach the dock connector to it.

why not use the dock available from apple and just tap into the firewire port with the correct voltages.... that way you can just place the ipod in the dock to hold it... thats what i intend to do with mine

I also want the iPod to play through the stero with just the dock connector, no iTrip.

the dock has a line level output... problem solved
