| radio code I need the code for my radio I took out the battery to install my HID's and thought I had the code but no luck, I went to BMW of BAYSIDE and they told me since I didnt buy the car from them it was going to cost me $50.00 for the code....WTF!!!!!!, for a simple code, unreal any way I bought a plug from crutchfield for my SONY but it does'nt come in till the weekend since the holiday weekend and I really need some tunes, Does any have any way of getting me the code???? I really refuse to pay the stealer $50 for something that does not even take them 30 seconds to look up(and I only need it till I install my SONY), I feel like writting a letter to bmwna of the corruption (not the first time I had issues with them ) ,the way they try to take advantage of people and feel like they can get away with it since they are the only dealer around the area. |

| this may be a stupid question but did you check the back of the manuel that came with the car.if your the original owner then the code cards should be there. hell, maybe the previuse owner left them in there. i've had bad experiences with bayside bmw too. they are real dicks there! ![]()

| Drive your car to Park Ave BMW in Maywood NJ off Route 17. It'll take 30 Sec to get your code. and it's FREE!! *Also. Press down on the MEM button on your ALPINE player for 30 sec and you get a Serial number for your stereo. Call up the dealer where you bought the car and give them the serial number that popped up on your screen. They can look up CODEs using that serial number |

| i just recently bought the car and I could have sworn the code card was in the little briefcase but it wasnt, I thought about going to the bronx but am kinda lazy and im getting a radio put in hopefully by fri. just going crazy in silence, I was hoping someone here had acess to the codes..oh well I will just wait for my plug to come in I cant believe these ****ers charge for something that others give for free. I could understand if I was just going to them with the radio, but the car is under my name...... thanks though for the responses. |
