| I drive a 1993 E36 sedan and am looking at installing a sound system, how does this sound, will it be ok, really good, or unbelievable? Majority of the gear is HERTZ, and details of most things can be found at the URL=http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/eng/index.htm]HERTZ[/url] website. The amps are at the AUDISON website. Basically just want to know in general if the HERTZ brand are as good as they cost, and if they are really good, because here in Australia they are not very common. Head Unit is Clarion DXZ835MP Up front pair of HSK-130 5" 1/4 with 3/4" tweeters At rear pair of ESK-130 5" 1/4 with 3/4" tweeters Powering those speakers is a Audison SRX4 amp In the boot an Audison SRX25 amp powering 2 12" HS 300 subwoofers which is going to be extremely loud. If anyone has heard HERTZ speakers or subs in their cars, or friends cars, or any experiences that they want to share, particularly E36 sedans then please lemme know Thanks Everyone |

| hertz is the shizz. asside from the $7,000 rainbow speakers I've listened to, I've never heard a set of speakers as easy on my ears as the heartz drivers. (I have very sensitive ears, and most setups hurt my ears if too loud, that includes our IASCA SQ competition car) there midrange is superb, but there high end falls off pretty quickly(this is not something most people notice, but when working in a hi-fi shop, you start getting VERY pickey). At the shop I used to work at we were doing these lines (other than decks and cheap stuff) PM me if you have any questions about this stuff arc audio audison rainbow hertz Image dynamics we did a couple of systems with hertz speakers and rainbow crossovers and that really brought out the high freq's. we would still be carrying them if our distributer did not fall out (www.redmountianaudio.com was the NA importer for audison hertz and Denon car audio, but their directory took all of their cash and split, leaving us with no product support )audison is also a very nice amplifier company, however I only have experience with the LRX and very little with the Vrx. (Srx was not out when we carried them) We did a system in a tribal members (read indian casino's = big $$) X5 4.6is on 22's! anyways we put a LRX1.400 powering 3 rainbow vandium 12's and a Lrx2.250 for the front soundstage. This guy plays the system at volume 11 (on a scale of 10) 24/7 and we have had no issues with the setup. One negative thing about hertz. there subs are musical, the do not perform with big loud low end. If you want that I would suggest 2 arc 12's, they will be matched well with the sub amp you are thinking of getting.
