| best speakers for the e36 I am probably going to buy some mb quart speakers from my friend. They are 5 1/4in and the small (1"?) tweeter. so my question is what speakers should i get to fill the rest of the locations? i want basicly the best without spending too much money. there is still the 3-4" in the front and the 4 inchers in the back and thats it i believe. I think i heard something about special bracket that alowed the use of 6x9s in the back. would this be worth wile to use? so what are the best speakers?

| id be consistent and get MB Quart all around. Look on EBAY, you really cant beat the prices they have on there for speakers. Just look for a seller who carries alot of stuff w/ high sales and alot of + feedback. One of my favorties is "scala1". Type his name under advanced search and seller and it should bring his stuff up. |

What model MB quarts are you getting, QSD, PSD, etc ... this makes a difference. Other models I would suggest are: a) dynaudio b) focal c) boston pro's I went with boston pro's 5.5's in the front and boston pro's 4 inch rear speakers. I spent a total of $360.00 for brand new ones (EBAY ROCKS!) .... so, good luck with it. But, for around $200-$250 -- I would look at focal's, boston pro's and dynaudio's as well. You could also consider JL Audio's XR-csi models as well. |
