Help me out - stock alpine in E36 M3.. sub outs?

Is there a way I can hook up a sub to an out on the amp in the back? I really don't want to get a new hu.

yeah, that is easy. Just go to a car audio place and buy a line level converter. It will be a little box about the size of a deck of cards. Costs about $25. What it does is tap into your rear speaker outputs (not robbing anypower just taking the signal) and then converts that 20 or 30 watt signal into a 2-channel 4 volt output, just like if it was the RCA output from an aftermarket deck. Then just plug it into a sub amp and bling, your in business.
