Alpine 7897 in a 98 M3

I just want to know if i purchase the unit + plug and play harness will i need to modify anyting in the car....does it just plug in and no additional work required?

i have yet to install a head unit into my BMW. In all the other cars that I have installed a head unit into I needed a Wiring harness that I needed to match and connect wires between. Ask someone at your car audio place and they will tell you what needs to be done....but I have heard that installing into a BMW is a bitch...be careful

i have that peice i didnt use the speaker outputs i got rid of the factory amp....wait till u figure everything out it is sweet and when u set the time correction and the crossover points... u got ur self a nice radio......to buy the auxilary input is like 140 bucks that sucks....
