I'm finally doing up my trunk this week and I need some ideas. I have 2 amps, an Orion HCCA 250g4 and a 225g4, the 250 being about 1.5 times bigger than the 225. I just picked up another Eclipse titanium sub, so now I have 2 of those, both 10". I have a convertible so the install is a little tougher because of the confined space available, but I have enough space to put 2 subs or the 2 amps all the way in the rear. Here are a couple pics to give you an idea of the area I'm working with (disregard the stuff in the trunk, these pics are 2 years old lol)
Here are my options:
1) I was thinking either to have the 2 subs seated all the way in the back, one on each side of the trunk angled facing each other, with a cap in the middle, and the 2 amps on the trunk floor sitting right over the spare tire well under some plexiglass.
2) To put the 2 amps on a shelf-type setup with sliding casters and trays so that they roll out, the bigger one below the smaller one, stacked setup. Then the 2 subs on each end of the trunk, towards the back of the car on the very outer edges (like overtop where the battery is for example).
Please excuse the HORRIBLE photo description, I'm at work and don't have anything but MS Paint
What do you think would be the best way to go about this? I want accessibility to my battery and my amps, and something that looks very clean and unobtrusive to the eye. Any comments, suggestions, tips, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!
Sal
