clarion touch screen, i need your help!

i know nothing about this car audio business, i am looking to get this head unit: http://www.clarion.com/multimedia/im.../verx935vd.jpg

along with the stealth boxes, my question is i am going to pay 1050 for this head unit brand new, and the stealth boxes, what do you think a good price will be for those?.....is that a good deal for the h/u and do you recomemend that i replace all the speakers in my car even though i will be running all the bass to the boxes and i have the harmon kardon system? ialso will need some sort of amp so i am told.....any recomendation will be grealty appriciated..thanks in advance!

Of course I'm more into Sound-Q so I would recommend new speakers at the 4 corners. It's amazing how much a nice set of mids can do for a system. I'd recommend Boston or MB Quart for mids unless you've got the money to blow on a set of Focals. As far as amps... it's a tough call. There are so many good ones out there. I've been outta the stereo scene for a while now so I couldn't really tell you what's hot at the moment. And about the headunit, it sounds like an average price for an LCD headunit. Clarion is good stuff. You really can't go wrong with their high end stuff unless you pay twice or more what it's worth.

anh, you sellin em too ? i think the screen is tite....but im scared it will get jacked in like 2 sec.

hahahahah.........how they gonna jack it if u install it right?....its possible but it takes awhile......and plus you have to admit thieves think twice about trying to jack something from a bimmer....dont get me wrong......it just depends on the area you are at too....i dont think OC should be that bad or is it? anyways to answer your question about me selling them, its no...i know where you can get it for hella cheap though...pm me and i'll give you more info

hehe, i have had emblems jacked from the bimmer before, and also this car has been hit in the rear back bumper by some a$$hole and drove away. im just a little paronoid with the 04' that im getting in dec.

yeah people jack emblems all the time....mostly stupid kids.....i saw some guy trying to steal mines when i still had my e36.....man was he sorry....i waiting and creeped up on him and then ask him "aye can you help me take off the front one too i've been wanted to clear it for awhile now" that foo was like ohh shit and tried to hit me...i dodged it and beat the shit out of him...the weird thing is after that the security guard comes and said HE SAW EVERYTHING....OMFG stupid lazy ass rent a bitches dont do anything till its over........ohh yeah on that clarion you want it has a detachable face if that makes a a lil of ur worries go away.....i believe the e46 is harder to ge to too...my e36 got its window bashed at CHURCH!!!!and my clarion got jacked....but its easier to pry the window off the e36.....you shouldn't have a prob wit it unless you go to really bad places a lot

damn.....i wish i caught the foo that jacked my emblems....i was more pissed that he scratched the hood and the trunk more than anythiung.....i would have gone agg on him. atleast justice was served to the ass that tried to jack yourz. i dont plan on cruising the 04 as much as i did the 02.....so i guess i will have nothing to worry about.
