Help Eclipse LCD Flickers when I turn the headlights on!!

I just got an Eclipse LCD unit put in and I come to find out that when I turn the headlight switch on the whole headunit flickers between day and night mode. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong? Thanks

You will have to get the dimmer wire for the screen wired up to the parking lights directly...not through the dash lights,because they work on a dimmer switch the resistance can affect the unit(alpine had similar problems on thier earlier screens)
