BMW harness for alpine headunit

Is this the correct harness that i need to install the 7894 head unit?

looks right to me, just connect the appropriate wires from the alpine's harness to that one and plug it all in and your good to go

Ok i bought the Euro Antenna thingy and the harness anything else i need? PS: Does anyone have a real good "How to install Alpine 7894 on HK sound for dummies" writeup

well i assume it would be the exact same as the install on my CDA9815 and any other CD Player, just connect the wires to the respective wires, and you might want to make sure you connect the alpine's remote wire to the antenna wire on the bmw harness, that way your amp will be on always when your cd player is on

if you want to take the time and do a nicer job (less wire to shove in also) you might pull the clips out of the harness, and then solder the alpine's harness wires into the clips and then stick them back into the harness... i wouldnt recommend doing it unless you know you can do it correctly and can get them back into the correct holes and solder the wires on nice and strong
