aNYONE KNOW ABOUT MOBILE VIDEO??? NEED HELP

I bought a 6" lcd monitor to put in my car ....it has RCA inputs.......im wanting to hook my laptop to it..... it has s-video... so i went to radio shack and bought an adapter to hook it together... If i hook up the cable from s-video(computer) to my tv in my room using the adapter i bought earlier it works fine. But if i hook it to my Cars screen ...it doesnt.... Why The **** does it not work? Any ideas guys....

Probably some incompatability issue. It might not like the digital in?

is ur adaptor powered (meaning do u have to plug it 110 volts)if so u need to get an inverter get that from radio shack it should work
