| Custom Setup Hi all, I am finally off for summer vacation for a few months and want to do a custom setup for my boot. I will be upgrading my subs and amp and I was wondering if anyone has any sites with explanations on how to build a custom setup....I basically want the spare to be on show with a plexiglass on top and a few neons etc....any links would be very much appreciated. I don't really want to spend hundreds if not thousands for a custom setup if I could do it myself as I have loads of free time. Regards Nas |

| Go talk with a high-end audio shop in your area. I went to mine and told them what I was looking for (custom boxes that extend from the rear wheel wells to the rear lights in an E36 trunk) and they priced it out for me, and told me how they would make the box and everything.

| Nas - read lots of magazines and experiment ... that's what I am doing ... trial by error type of learning. Just remember to do layers of fiberglass ... which will take time if you are using your rear wheel well ... plexiglass is fairly easy to cut ... just be slow and methodical ... hooking the stuff up is not the issue ... it's getting everything to fit very flush and clean ... you'll break some plexiglass, etc... trust me ![]() |
