| sure it can be done ![]() what type of amps do you have? do they have on board hp/lp crossovers? if they do then you've got it easy, if not its a little more tricky either way a nice simple and pretty cheap way is a pair of rca splitters, y-adapters to be exact, where you can devide the signal off onto each amplifier. or if the amps are decent quality, chances are they can be daisy chained (not really the right term in this instance though), my amp for example has one input and an output for that exact reason, and has an onboard adjustable crossover for it to control another sub amp. anyway give us the model number of your amps and can then make the best decision ![]()

| I have 2 Orion HCCA amps, a 225g4 (for the components) and a 250g4 (for the sub). Both have an RCA input and output. They also have high and low-pass crossover controls Thanks for the info so far...

| you need to go buy the kce-104v alpine builds this. it is an expansion box for the 1004. It gives you 3 4v outs and another a/v in you can check it out at ALPINE1.COM go to product models and then to multimedia stations hope this helps |

| 92Schnitzer - yeah I saw that but I really don't feel like spending another 200 bucks just for one more preout The Y-adapter or daisy-chaining the amps should work right with the amps that I have?

| daisy chaining the amps will work but you loose the ability to balance and fade and you will lose your sub control on your headunit i have installed a couple of amps this way and our customers come in and complain about engine noise but it is your choice but the 104v includes "three auxiliary audio/video inputs, two auxiliary A/V outputs, and THREE SETS OF 4V PREAMP OUTPUTS" |

| Yeah, it's a nice unit that expansion piece and I'll probably buy it a little later on - just right now I'd like to save some money so I think I'll wait on it. But thanks for the advice, I appreciate it ![]()
