e36 conversion

hi, just wanted to know if i can take out the engine of an e36 318is and put a 535 engine in it, would it fit what difficulty do you think i could encounter... would an m3 engine be enough power ... thanks

i think you would be able to achieve this with great difficulty as this would involve the moving the engine mounts and then the wiring issues... i'd only do this if this was a track car and i way too much time on my hands
