big tires

What is the biggest size tire i can run on my 86 325es on stock basket weaves? right now i think i have 195/65/14 on there. I need some snow tires. I figure id rather have snow tires than chains. Also any one know if someone would make a snow tire in like a 205/50/16? thanks for the help.

I have 205/60/14 on my 89 325i. It fits without any rubbing. Of course the basketweaves may have a different offset than the bottlecaps.
