QUICK RIM QUESTION

Ive seen cars that have the same colour rims as their paintjob (i.e Sunshine Yellow bodywork, Sunshine yellow rims)

Is it easy to just spray your rims the colour of the car??

Does it flake off etc?

Any help would be well appreciated.
