| FS: 1994 BMW 325i Modified, only 90k miles!!! Hi all: I'm selling my 1994 BMW 325i. The car is in excellent condition and has just over 90k miles. My situation has changed and I was forced to buy a truck, so I now have no more room for this car. This car has been maintained regularly and tastefully modified: As I thought I was going to keep this car forever, I have put a lot of money in it in order to make it faster, handle better, more reliable, and without sacrificing mileage (still gets over 30mpg). Modifications to the chassis and drivetrain are as follows: Turner Motorsport rear aluminum shock mounts Turner Motorsport/BMW front subframe reinforcement kit Turner Motorport/BMW rear subframe chassis reinforcement kit Turner Motorsport/BMW rear sway bar reinforcement kit Rear trailing arm mounting reinforcement AKG Motorsports polyurethane differential mounts Used 1992 325is LSD differential (with approximately 120k miles, tight with no track time) BMW E30 M3 front control arm bushings (for better caster/suspension geometry) BMW E36 M3 factory rear subframe mounts & rear trailing arm bushings BMW E36 M3 X Brace BMW E36 M3 Front strut tower reinforcement plates Bimmerworld reinforced rear lower camber arms Vorshlag rear trailing arm bushing limiting kit H&R sport spring set Bilstein sport shocks UUC Sway Barbarian Gen 2 swaybars (27mm front, 23.8mm rear, urethane rear end links) Jim Conforti performance chip Modifications to the interior are as follows: BMW factory console cupholder Sony CDX-GT410U Stereo (with USB and mini stereo plug auxiliary inputs) Sony 6x9” rear speakers with Bavarian Soundwerks mounting adapters Morel 5 1/4" front 2 way component speakers BMW M-Tech Euro suede steering wheel Other miscellaneous modifications are as follows: Turner Motorsport black kidney grilles Vorshlag 60mm wheel stud kit with black lug nuts Turner Motorsport stainless steel brake lines UUC Motorwerks Stainless steel clutch line UUC Motorwerks Evo3 short shift kit UUC Motorwerks DSSR 189mm There are a few issues with the car that are purely cosmetic. There are some dings on the car that are normal for a 15 year old car. On the interior, the on board computer works perfectly but the display is missing a few pixels, there is some loose door sill trim at the bottom of the left rear door, there is a wear spot on the armrest, and the glovebox panel needs to be reglued to be perfect. Mechanically, there are no issues with the car and it runs like a top. In the last year, I have spent over $7,000 in labor and $5,000 in parts on the car (I will include receipts)!! Specifically, installing a new suspension, reinforcing the chassis with Turner Motorsport/BMW factory parts, all new steering components (tie rods and ball joints), and updating the interior and stereo. Maintenance in the last year include new thermostat and housing, all fluids changed (transmission & differential with redline fluids), fuel filter, air filter, cabin microfilter, and new brakes (rotors, Axxis ultimate brake pads, ATE super blue fluid). This is the best year E36: first year with r134a refrigerant, last year with the simpler OBD1 computer (no EWS junk). Asking $7k on the forum, as I have it on ebay but am willing to end the auction early. |
