| f/s 1997 bmw 318i I am selling my 1997 BMW 318i (E36) Sedan. It’s an auto with the 1.9L M44 Engine. The car has 111,xxx miles, it’s Black on Black with the sunroof. There are no performance modifications on the car right now. The previous owner installed a loud muffler, but I recently had it removed. It currently has white xenon bulbs and black and white roundels. The previous owner also installed an Alpine CD Changer as well.
The Good: The Interior is mint. It’s actually brand new! The previous owner installed all new front and rear seats and carpet. The car’s paint is in good condition as well. The Engine and Tranny both run strong and this car is an awesome commuter/economy, with some power. The car recently got an oil change, and a replacement K&N Air Filter. I replaced the Mass Air Flow Boot in the car, which is a common problem in these cars. All of the window motors work extremely well and, the car had a full service maintenance not too long ago. These cars can easily run over 200,000 miles no problem, as long as you take care of it. This car is good to go, needs nothing and is a great car.
The Bad: Just like any 12 year old car, there are some problems. The car has minor blemishes on the paint, as well as some minor dents that can easily be fixed. There are 2 small dents on the hood, as well as an extremely small dent on the right rear door. The lower bumper right below the license plate has a slight crack, which you won’t notice unless you really look for it. The shocks need to be changed down the road, but still have life in them. And finally, the previous owner messed around with the speaker wiring because only the rear deck speakers and bottom speakers work, but this can easily be fixed as well. That’s about it, which is not too shabby for a car with 111,xxx miles and 12 years on it.
Will post pictures as soon as possible.
The car is located in Stamford, CT. Looking to get around, $4,700, slightly negotiable but not much. Just shoot me an offer or you can reach me at any time at: (203) 564-6857, my name is Paul. |
