I have spent over 2,000 on top of what I purchased this car for, and I will be taking a loss on this sale. It is a perfect reliable daily driver, and has never let me down. My friend Ben has worked on this, who is an expert BMW mechanic and has helped me out on numerous occasions working on my car. It has fresh Avon XX directional tires on it. The sunroof works, no window problems, the heated seats work, and the heater still blows hot. The Bad: I swapped hoods on the car at some point (the car used to have a fiberglass/CF hood on it when I bought it) and put on an OEM hood. The mounting tabs were slightly off center and thus the hood didn't like to open. As a result, the hood latch broke off. I have already acquired a new hood latch and the hood needs a simple lift and readjustment. The A/C doesn't work (needs a recharge if A/C is a concern for you). I recently replaced the suspension with a Sach's Stage 3 strut / springs, as well as ball joints, cross brace, and strut bearings (1996+ M3). The suspension is extremely tight, but there is a slight vibration at speed due to a wheel bearing (rear right), and would need an alightment after. The Verdict: This is extremely cheap, reliable, many of the problem areas of the E36 have been dealt with, and of course the appealing aspect of it looking almost exactly like an M3! This is really just a get in and go vehicle. I am in Amherst, MA and I am asking **5,800.00 OBO!!*** COME GET IT ~~~~ ! My e-mail is autonomouseugene@gmail.com and my # is 714 336 0292. I am looking for a quick sale- offer me something ! anything! I won't message you some heated reply if I don't like your deal so it won't hurt to throw something out there right? Thanks !!!
