Wow, much more powerful than my machine. I have a G4 Cube running at 450 MHz with only 192 MB of RAM.

I think you mean an 867MHz G4, they never made a 887.

If you are having a lot of problems with your tower you might want to have the motherboard checked. I have the same computer and an Apple technician told me that Apple was having some problems with the motherboards. I know of one owner who had hers replaced by Apple under warranty.

Typo, yea, it is a 867!

I am going to put OS X on my Ti Book, tomorrow. I want to use iphoto and my new Office X. So hopefully it will all go well!!

There is nothing wrong with the MB on the computer. There are a FEW software conflicts with os 9 apps and the network software.
