FS: Power Steering DIY Repair Hoses - E36

This kit is meant to be a cheaper alternative than OEM to fix those leaky power steering hoses that leaks on ALL E36 cars eventually. Replacement at your local mechanic will cost you over $500 for this fix. Even if your E36 is not leaking now, it will leak eventually.

I purchased more than enough 300psi hose to do several E36 powersteering hose repairs. I am selling just two pieces of high-pressure 300psi high-temperature "flame resist" black hose in sizes 5/8" and 1/2" and 4 extra strength clamps. These reinforced hoses are designed to flow oil at high temperatures and high pressures. These are NOT the cheap water/coolant heater hoses which are available everywhere and will fail prematurely. I choose these hydraulic hoses because the exterior is flame resistant and will resistant direct sparks and slag, but are still soft enough to replace your stock hoses without special fittings.

This repair is to replace both your low-pressure hoses (the two that connect to the bottom of your power steering reservoir). Those two hoses are very likely to leak and this repair is mandatory for most E36 (eventually).

I will cut exactly the length you need for either a 92-95 325/M3, or a 92-95 318. I can also do the 96-99 328/M3 now. I also found a supplier for extra strength clamps, reported to have 4 teeth of contact on a thick stainless steel band. When I clamped these down, they pressed into the hose nicely and is far stronger than the OE BMW clamps. Generic cheap clamps may strip.

For the two hydraulic hoses (5/8 and 1/2), 4 extra-strength clamps, and detailed installation instructions, I want $25.00 shipped. Yes I take Paypal.

Email me if interested. Please let me know what car you have. TIA.
