Z4M Coupe

HI guys,

I have been absent for ages,

Hows everyone been?

I have had a very interesting time with cars lately,

I kept my previous ride (E36 M3 I just love thrashing it) but did get a Maserati 3200GT coupe, it was nice but was more GT, very very dissappointing to the E36 M3,

So I traded that in for a good deal on a very nice Black E46 M3 low k's , its been a real blast but I had some engine problems recently, anyway when I took the car into BMW today I laid eyes on a fucking gorgeous sight

Thhe BMW Z4M Coupe, I'm seriously thinking of trading my E46 M3 in for the Z4M Coupe, I'll know tomorrow if the dealer accepts my offer,

I'm curious has anyone had any experience with the Z4M Coupe?

Any comments, thoughts?

I hope everyones been well,

If meets/cruises are still on I'll try and come to the next on

Cheers

Its a hard life you are leading if you have the choice of a E46 M3 or Z4 M Coupe...

I wish i had those decisions to make!

I don't know man its hard to choose between the two. You definitely don't see asmany M-coupes on the road compared to M3s. They both have the S54 engine which is good and the M-coupe weighs less than the M3 so its probably slightly faster/handles a bit better. Definitely doesn't hold a candle to the M3 in terms of visual appearence, however that's just my opinion. . Best person to get info for something like this would be 1q2w3e4r ( Ben ) - he has both the M coupe and M3.

M Coupe is a weapon. The 3.0 has a real presence on the road the M is even more brutal.

Be a little different. I'd love the M coupe, i'd take it over the M3.

My next car is either a M coupe, or a 135i. (if i can afford them)

According to Jason Plato its the reincarnation of the Shelby Cobra! (sorry couldn't find the Coupe video)

Go the M Coupe. Looks like s3x with the coupe roof, and it's faster too.

Well just a quick update,

Bought the M Coupe and swapped the E46 M3 in,

Its an amazing car, its much more raw than the E46 M3, its almost as raw as the E36 M3, but its still a hell of alot more refined than the E36 M3,

To put it simply its in between, but it handles much better, it just feels like its glueed to the road

Some may saw its too hard core and on the edge (ie most car review mags) but I fucking love it,

Will probably get rid of my E36 M3 now too as its rawnes is no longer needed

Am thinking of putting some rims on it, apart from that nothing is planned

What colour? Options?

What type of rims are you thinking of?

lol, so thats what you meant when u said ask Benny the kid?

Its the blue, looks the best imo, had a choice out of grey with red, carbon schwartz black with red or blue with black, went with the blue,

They come fully optioned, ie nothing to spec up, sat nav, tv, dvd, only come in manual 6 spd and of course the inline 6 screaming banshee engine!

Any E46 M3's wanna go for a run?

Do the 4.10 gear swap dude, it really needs it.

My M3 feels more punchy than the M Coupe because its got the shorter gears, so it has more take up in each gear and they wind up better spaced. Fuel economy doesn't suffer either as you can use 5th-6th gear much more at lower speeds.

Your right though, out of the box its a much more fun car to drive as the suspension is setup better than the standard M3 cars as it, the brakes and steering rack are a carry over from the CSL.

Don't have any good photos of mine with the wheels on it, here's a black one. You get the idea.

Sounds like a plan, should get everyone out and have a run. Kenny's Coupe is being finalized and I'm ready to rock with the GTR.
