New M3...

shamelessly stolen...

Engine - 4.0 V8, 420BHP
Transmission - Six-Speed manual, rear-wheel drive, torque sensing lockable diff
Performance - 0-62mph 4.9 secs, 155mph (limited)

nice big wheels... not sure about the whole car yet, still might grow on me (pics aren't the greatest), but this only means one thing.. E46 M3's are going to be (even moreso) hot items very soon...

4.9sec is a dissapointing 0-100, you will be getting munched by holden SS's off the lights.
And they should have scraped the SMG gear box and gone with something like the DSG from VW.
Let hope it handels ok.

i have a feeling it will be faster, because the RS4 has about 420bhp aswell, and does the 100km/h quicker, plus BMW always over-estimates, they said the BMW m6 would do 0-100km/h in 4.6, many road test have seen it do it in 4.1! I have a feeling this M3, will once again, rule the market!

4.9 secs is quick. But only school kids reading magazines compare 0-100 times anyway. The front looks good, but if that is the back end that they've decided on, that is seriously ugly.

Maybe they are quoting safe numbers? They did that with the 335i didn't they... or was that just HP figures..

Really not feeling the styling of this car. IMO the exhaust should be a little bit more intergrated in the rear bumper and the front bumper looks a bit rice to me. It reminds me of the Cyber body kits on preludes, ie its toooo big.

I usually agree but not this time - that rear end looks fucked up. Where did it come from? Its not even the same as the 335i.
