Wat u guys think? I found these angel eyes on ebay. AUD$470 delivered from USA. worth buying? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...72752529QQrdZ1

I believe you already have ellipsoids or whatever, as Aus delivered cars got something different to US delivered. GO talk to Crombo (for sale section) and hook yourself up with the angel eyes he sells.

Not worth it at all. You already have better quality headlights than the ones in that auction. All you need to do is buy a set of CCFL angel eyes (see the ones Crombo is selling in the FS section), and install them in your headlights. Will be better quality, and save you alot of money ![]()

As has been pointed out already - cars the were imported into the USA had plactic headlights. Australian cars have glass lens headlights, so you don't really neeed to spend the extra in replacing what you already have... unless yours are damaged of course. Take a look in the For Sale Section there is a thread on Crombo's Angel Eyes. They look good and I want to get a set.

I understand what you guys are saying, but the main reason, I'm looking into the whole headlight is because I have a Cosmos CAI Version 2 and its 3.5 inch wide and to fit the pipe through I hade to disconnect the “Headlight Vertical Aim Control” on the back of headlight and just left it unplugged. The headlight works fine, but I just don’t like things loose. So are the ZKW same design from the back as my Bosch headlights. Has anyone else with Cosmos V2 CAI had the same problem? I tried searching but no luck.

Dosent matter about the rest of the issues you have raised in your post, as they become irrelevant as to the lens being glass or plastic and the quality and will they fit your CAI, or the cost. THE HEADLIGHTS YOUR THINKING OF BUYING ARE LHD THEY WILL BLIND ONCOMING TRAFFIC DUE TO THE LENS DESIGN. So reconnct your vertical height control so you dont blind oncoming traffic when you have your mates in the back seat and just but a normal set of angel eyes. Thanks for listening BobZ
