Mate it really depends on how much money you want to spend.

Pat & Micks Smash @ Blacktown are good (there's two with the same name though which makes it difficult to tell you exactly where they are, or which one as I can't remember the street name)

That said, Stow in Hotham Parade, Artarmon are probably the best in Sydney. They also do/organise non-intrusive dent removal. If you go down there Mick is the guy to speak to.

yeh stow is real good.. i had a similar experience at bob jane in chatswood and drummoyne, scratched up my rims when they put new rubber on, and then when i went to get it serviced for 5,000k's they scratched them up some more, deep scratches too, more like cuts..

As far as the pink slip goes, if I remember correctly, the pink slip form will be submitted by the first company to the RTA and if the RTA think that it's suspicious that you went one place and failed and then another place and passed then they may ask for recepts (showing the repair of the first places failures) or they my ask you in for an inspection (happened to a friend ages ago). Just make sure that you cover (document) all of the issues in case they call.
Umm.. or i could say i fixed it myself .. which i wost likely would do .. its not like its an offence to carry work out on your own car .. its not the hardest job in the world to change some shocks.. ( thats most likely all that needs to be done .. as with the tyre tread the guy had his hand on it as i even measured the depth myself.. as the tyres had only been changed recently.. and they hadnt been scrubing or anything .. and i dont do burnouts and stupid stuff in my car .. or let others do so..

Thats fine, but you would have to buy the new shocks so you could show them that.. If they came to you and said, what happened about the failed shocks?, and you said, i fixed them myself, with no bills for the parts then they would most likly want to see for them selves.
That's all i'm saying..
