M3Rs are nothing special anyway. You can build a better E36 M3 for bugger all.

There was a M3r, which i saw at a Oran Park track day not long ago...
Simply AMAZING!!...

It was so quick, and i totally understand that you can build a e36 m3 to better it, but theres only 15? ... the rareness, and the sheer preformance your getting from a stock car....Its an enthusiest car? i guess....if you are looking for more power etc. Yes, but a normal e36 m3, But its totally different story when getting your hands on a 1 of 15.

Thats IMO.

Hard to say? they are all white...

Minus those vynals and it could be it? but different number plate.

Picture from the track day pics. This car took my breathe away.
I think he might be on the forum, not 100%. But his car is great.

Hi There,
I own the M3R which you saw at Oran Park for the Rnd 2 BMW Supersprint series. This model was specially homogolated for the GT Series by Frank Gardiner in 1995. Only 15 were produced and were fully endorsed by BMW AG. They are the rarest and quickest factory E36 M3s in the world. Yes, you can make a standard E36 M3 as quick on the track but few people have the setup skills like BMW Motorsport do ...

Don't know about that ... However, there should be a plaque under the handbrake lever designating what # the car is.

M3Rs are no biggie. It's a 3 litre production engine with some tweaks, a couple of lightweight panels and tight suspension.

This way pretty good for 1995. You can take any E36 M3 (you'd start with a 50B32 and Evo model) and build a much better road or race car using 2005 technology for not much money. Don't forget you can buy all the BMW Motorsport parts ... there's nothing magic about an M3R.
