The 318is supercharger option @6500 is quite reasonable. would lift power to prob beyond 328i levels for probably less $$$ than changing your car (esp when u factor in stamp duty).

U will have something unique as well.
the only concern i have is how will your drivetrain handle it, and the fact that the extra power will reqire an LSD to get it too the ground effectvely.

Most people here look down upon this sort of thing I think.. But you could always put a SR20DET or RB20/25DET into it... That probably wouldn’t be cheap either though..
