The website hasn't been updated with the supercharger kit details yet, so if you have any questions ask them here and Erik or I will answer them.

There is a special introductory price on a limited number of kits:

+ 1 only "SK Plus" kit at $6,998 (normal price $8,996)
+ 2 only "SK Stage I" kits at $11,996 (normal price $12,999)

These kit suits E36, E46, Z3, Z4, E60, X3 and X5. Ask for specific horsepower and kit details.

For example, an E36 328 with SK Plus kit makes 240 bhp with the ASA Supercharger making 0.3 Bar boost (4.5 psi).

For example, an E46 330i with SK Stage I kit makes 320 bhp at 0.4 Bar boost (5.8 psi).

Wullza, ASA do not make a supercharger kit for any 4 cylinder BMWs :-(

However Bavaricars are finalising the Downing-Atlanta (DASC) supercharger kits for the M42 and M44 BMW 4 cylinder engined cars. PM me for more details on the DASC kits.

There is an ASA (The ASA kits are branded "Infinitas") kit application for these models:

E36: 320i, 323i-325i, 328i, M3, M Coupe-M Roadster
E46: 320i, 323i-325i, 328i, 330i
E60: 530i
Z3: 2.8i, 3.0i
Z4: 2.2i, 2.5i, 3.0i
X3: 3.0i
X5: 3.0i, 4.4i, 4.6is

Crazy, man!

E36 Infinitas (ASA) kits for E36 M3. Note that these kits are more expensive than the non-M cars because they have different components and make more power with the high compression M engines:

+ Stage I (385 bhp at 0.3 Bar boost) - $19,996
Kit includes ASA TM12 Compressor, air filter, centrifugal clutch for silent operation at idle, polished stainless steel intake plumbing, water cooled intercooler, bypass system, belt drive, oil supply system, reprogrammed ECU and all necessary fittings.

+ Stage II (410 bhp at 0.35 Bar boost) - $23,996
Kit as for Stage I, with ASA TM12HD compressor, ASA cat-back exhaust system and individual engine tuning.

Also available are the even more powerful kits, however these kits require opening up the engine to fit low compression pistons, special rods and head studs:

+ Stage III (450 bhp at 0.45 Bar boost) - POA
Kit as for Stage I, with ASA TM15 HD compressor, low compression pistons, stainless steel exhaust system (sports cats, reear muffler), sports air filter, sealing package, individual engine tuning, conrods and head bolts.

+ Stage IV (550 bhp at 0.7 Bar boost) - POA
Kit as for Stage I, with ASA TM15 HD compressor, low compression pistons, stainless steel exhaust system (sports cats, reear muffler), sports air filter, sealing package, individual engine tuning, conrods and head bolts.

Are these prices including labour to install? If not, how much extra will that be?

Merli, those are the total prices including labour, there are no other costs.

For a manual transmission E46 330Ci here are the applicable kits:

+ SK Plus kit (286 bhp at 0.3 Bar boost) - $8,996 [SPECIAL OFFER - 1 kit only at $6,998]
Kit includes ASA TM12 compressor, sports air filter, cast aluminium intake, boost side stainless steel piping, compressor oil supply system, belt drive.

+ Stage I (320 bhp at 0.4 Bar boost) - $12,996 [SPECIAL OFFER - 2 kits only at $11,996]
Kit includes ASA TM12 Compressor, air filter, centrifugal clutch for silent operation at idle, polished stainless steel intake plumbing, intercooler, bypass system, belt drive, oil supply system, fuel regulator, ASAtronic, individually numbered serial plaque.

+ Stage II (340 bhp at 0.5 Bar boost) - $14,996
Kit as for Stage I, with ASA TM12HD compressor, ASA cat-back exhaust system and individual engine tuning.

+ Stage III (370 bhp at 0.6 Bar boost) - $22,996
Kit as for Stage I, with ASA TM12HD compressor, stainless steel exhaust system (exhaust manifolds, sports cats, front and rar silencer) and individual engine tuning.

Also available is an even more powerful kit which requires opening up the engine to fit low compression pistons and fine machine the head surface:

+ Stage IV (400 bhp at 0.7 Bar boost) - POA
Kit as for Stage I, with ASA TM15 HD compressor, low compression pistons, stainless steel exhaust system (sports cats, reear muffler), fine machining of the cylinder head, sealing package and individual engine tuning.

For automatic equipped E46 330Cis only the SK Plus and Stage I kits are suitable. The power output is also reduced on those kits by 20-30 bhp. The reason for this is that the OEM automatic transmission cannot handle the increased power, wheras the manual transmission is much stronger.

Dave, the Downing/Atlanta superchrger kits should be available soon for all M42 and M44 engined BMWs (these are the 1.8 and 1.9 four cyclinders in the 318i, Z3 and 318ti cars).

The DASC kit is a Roots type supercharger which suits the smaller capacity four cylinder engines by giving an instant hit of boost.

There is also a stage II DASC kit in ind with someadditional trickery to pump up the power even more.

The ASA/Infinitas centrifugal supercharger kits are better suited to the 6 cylinder cars with their larger reserves of torque.

Bavariacars can always make you up a custom build for ANYTHING your heart desires anyway! If you've got your heart set on an ASA supercharger powered 4 cylinder BMW or a turbo monster 318is or whatever.

But the beauty of the ASA kits is that you know the total price and the timeframe, whereas the custom projects can't be locked down so tightly since each one is a different build.
