The guy has heaps of different businesses - I think it was only one of them that is bankrupt.

It was just Chapter 11 in the US. No biggie - it is simply a way to avoid creditors in the US, rather than Bankruptcy as we know it in Australia.

Trump himself has been bankrupt for ages- his family keeps on bailing him out with shelf companies.

Ch.11 is very similar to bankruptcy- you cannot trade, etc for several years.
