Need help from Aussie

Hi there,

I will come to the next Bathurst 1000 race in october.
I'm from germany, near Hamburg and I'm looking for a hotel,
or other room, in Bathurst where I can sleep for a whole week.

I have to fly the 6th october and I'm landing in Sydney.
It is better to rent a car from Sydney to Bathurst?

It is round about 200km. I know there is a little plane for pick up
the passengers to Bathurst.

Is there anybody in Australia who give me some infos??

And I need a ticket for the race.
I want a ticket who can I visit the paddock, or pitlane maybe.

On the website Ticketek you can order a ticket, but I don't know
if they send to germany.

I'd start booking accommodation now - also check out Wotif

Personally, I'd drive from Sydney to Bathurst, but then I'm familiar with the place. A couple of options here

I'll give Tiketek a call tomorrow - but I would think they'd post to Germany.

I think I rent a car from Sydney to Bathurst.
I believe it too, they don't send the ticket to Germany.

Maybe it is possible you buy me a ticket and I send you the money
to your account.
Then you send me the ticket to Germany.

Do you know if there a ticket where I can go to the pit, or boxes?
I saw the last race on TV. I saw over the pitlabe many viewers.
