Hi Guys,

being a local i thought i'd post up some pics i took of this years Targa Tasmania, including some of the pretty strong BMW representation.

E30 325i

Aston Martin Vantage - dont know about the purple lips!

M3R - This thing was hauling ass & sounded amazing

You obviously saw some racing. Was it a surprise to you that the Mazda3 MPS came in the top 10? and was the first unmodified car in?

The mazda 3 is without a doubt the greatest car ever produced.

Only saw a little bit unfortunately as i had to work, i geuss its not too suprising given that its a small car with resonable power on some pretty twisty roads with an obviously strong driver. Impressive that a front wheel car can beat all those evo's and wrx's especially in some of the final rain stages. I geuss for some its all about preserving their cars and not doing an Eric Bana head on into the trees

I'd have to see some pretty impressive evidence to back that one up, Mazda 3 the greatest car ever? I had one last year and I didn't think so. Admittedly it wasn't an SP23, but give me an E36 318is any day over that.

Interesting to see 2 M3R's, the one with the pink stripes has been running in Targa for a while now, it was in Performance BMW a couple of years ago. I'd love to have a drive of one of those.
