| Formula 1 Fans Hey guys, Just a feeler to see how many people follow the BMW (or any other, for that matter) Formula 1 team. It would be good to have a group to share points of view about the sport and especially the BMW team. It will also be interesting to see how many of us stay up to watch the races live, especially you guys down south! Hit back if you're interested, it would be good to have an F1 thread going for Aussie fans. Cheers, ///M cubed

| Yep, Catalunya Raceway in Sapin, 13th May. Kubica and Heidfeld have been driving sensationally, especially Heidfelds effort to come 4th on the weekend. I believe they're more talented drivers than some of the front runners, especially Lewis Hamilton. He must have had 15 lock ups during Sunday's race. I can't wait for BMW to have a more competetive car, then they will definately stop being "the best of the rest". I'm very confident both Heidfeld and Kubica will be on the podium at least once this year, and probably winning races next year.

| Interesting how many people go for Mclaren Mercedes. I get so annoyed sometimes when I see flocks of fans with ferrari shirts on, waving ferrari flags. Most of them will never own or drive a ferrari, so they obviously only support the team due to their track record, or so they look good at the end of the race in the winning colours. It's like people going for english football teams, when most of them have never even visited the country. A pommy mate of mine who supports a pommy football team, and coincidentally owns a ferrari aswell, calls both of those types "glory boys". What do you guys think?

| I like mclaren mercedes simply because there car has always been tough and i love the look and colours of it. Hamilton is driving absolutely insane for a rookie. Fernando Alonso has always been good and i dont think he has ever caused to many problems for anyone.

| Ferrari have pretty much perfected F1 and it shows with new drivers getting in the drivers seat and just blitzing the field. I am sick of ferrari winning hence i dont go for them. They have come along way and in fact have quite easily got the best car there.

| I don't mind Hamilton. He's a great driver. Alonso on the other hand is an absolute twat. I throughly enjoyed watching ferrari's pit stop strategy to get massa in front of that dickhead.

| How can you say that bout hamilton. He will go very far with his F1 career and i would say will easily be the next schumacher. What ferrari did in pits was sneaky and a bloody isane quick time in the pits.

| There is nothing sneaky about what Ferrari did. Alonso was keeping Massa back. It's not Ferrari's fault if McLaren couldn't see that coming. Words can't expressed how overjoyed I was to see Alonso relegated to nothingness.
