ATTN: Die Hard Melbourne Cruisers

Dunno if this will work, but just a suggestion:

Queens Bday falls on a Monday this year, so was wondering.

If DTM Syndey members go ahead with a cruise say on Queens Birthday long weekend, would anyone in Melbourne be intersted in possibly tagging along to Sydney for that weekend?

Thinking of making a trip up some time and if we could get a group would be awesome...

Edits:

-Leave on 10th Sat of June around Midday
-Group Stay at hotel
-Clubbing, bars pubs you name it
-And anything that eventuates
-Arrive back by 12th Monday (queens birthday) back in Melb by 8pm.

Dont get overly excited

Just preliminary ideas, but the idea would be say leave Melb around 9am-12pm Sat Morning, getting to syd by evening (about 800 Kms), clubbing sunday night meeting up with syd members, and heading back on Queens Bday morning/midday.

All up would be about 2000 highway Kms on your ride, considering you do around 600-800 on the cruise, suppose would be priceless for the experience hence only for the DIE Hards.

Wiked idea dont you think...

i guess i am the first melbourne to say:

*scratch balls* hmmm fair dinkem *picks nose* would someone happen to have discounted petrol cards?

BTW, this doesnt state that i am not interested. For the ones who know me, i pretty much never miss out on a cruise just trying to find a cheaper way there ^_^

Ok.. im in if my car gets here on by then.. otherwise im gonna hitch a ride with someone's M3 (and M3 only) otherwise im not going :P

we can get up to sydney on 1 tank yeh? i have no idea..

You can easily make a one way trip with one tank, I've done that in mine and also in my dad's e46 318.

Pretty sure most of the cars can make it with one tank
Easy highway crusing on 110-120

I can meet U guys somewhere around Campbelltown and escort u to the hotel/motel

One tank of fuel should be suffiecient for each trip up and down, after all its all practically highway. Considering people in europe, bounce from country to country with their BMW's, really whats it worth? C'mon people petrol shouldn't be a major issue.
