Melbourne: Watch out! Cruise in the making

As it seems a lot of Melbournians are fired up atm for a cruise, i have thought of something that will get DTMpower melbourne together. Nothing to break chem0's cruise though.

What is happening: Fo Shizzle productions has another sugarloaf reservoir cruise in the making due for late may early june.

What i plan to do: DTMpower separate cruise for reefton spur/black spur then meet them at the bbq place as i like the morning runs better then the after lunch runs.

Thoughts:
Breakfast together at 8:30am or 9am depending how it fits in
leave at 9:30 or 10
Create some map routes for teh day
cruise down in our cars to warburton where i will allocate groups
Depending on numbers split into 3 groups of 6 cars each
we will do reefton spur then black spur to meet at the bbq place
have bbq with the other group
do another run of black spur or go home(depending on how tired i end up)

Reason:
looks better with a group of bmw's/euro cars. i will have for sure 1x mazda mx5, 1x honda s2k, 2x mitsubishi evo's with us but the rest will be DTMpower.
DTMpower needs an event with just DTMpower but to also show that this group does exist to the public
This cruise will give DTMpower Melbourne a meet, a bbq, and a social event. Doing it first before the bbq means we get to know each other and do not get lost in the scramble of all the other cars.

please provide me with any other thoughts.

hey guys, count me in. Hopefully will have my suspension done by then aswell

BUT JUNE IS NOT Reefton Spur time, especially in the morning, I will be there in my brothers Range Rover and I should be running with the EVO's over the black ice and snow, hell maybe even if front of them. LOL

This will go ahead just waiting for final results. The reason for this being so late is because i am stuck with heaps of assignments and exams. So anytime before will put my studies at risk.

FYI: This random write-up came out better then i thought and will be the official cruise set up. We are only waiting for the day set for this cruise.

For the morning run, i will be affiliating with Australian Convertible Club as they only have about 3 members from melboune ATM so wont wont wreck the DTMpower spirit for the day. Please spread the news to all ENTHUSIAST BMW drivers.

Yeah bobz is right, this is going to be crazy in the morning if the road os too cold. My tyres are stuggling in the wet atm, so bring on the black ice

Why not somewhere else like Lake Thompson, Wilsons Prom, Yea via Kinglake across to Nagambie or Mt Buller before the snow hits ????

morning cruise up there are either very very very slow or pure madness.
ive been up there this time of year and had white roads, so if we get a cold nite there will be black ice everywhere.

definatly reccomend something a little less adventerous for this time of year
