| [MELB] BBQ at Albert Park Lake on the 5th of Nov. We'll be having a BBQ on the 5th November at 12pm. The location is Albert Park Lake, at the picnic area on Lakeside Dr (runs parallel with Queens Rd and is adjacent to Leopold St). I'll be bringing a few things for the occasion but could you please bring some snags, bread, condiments, hat and sunscreen, soccer balls, cricket bats, etc..anything that's fun for all! I would be very appreciative if I could have an indication of who's going to attend too. It'll be a great way to catch up and have a bit of fun with your mates, so I hope to see you all there! | Myself and Stefan, made the first DTM BBQ in Melbourne an event to remember, after driving around for a while to find the best place to set up the 2 of us met up, at the Northern end of the lake. After deciding on continuing with the BBQ plans instead of going down to Claredon St and having lunch at a cafe, we discovered that really more planning was in order. Although we remembered the important stuff like food, no one bothered to bring any oil or cooking utensils. After the shock of this discovery had worn off we just made do with other HACCAP approved cooking methods (our fingers). A great time was had by all, no pictures were taken to avoid embarresment at a later date. BobZ |
