Anyone interested in a fresh little 318i engine?

Hi guys, a mate of mine just wrote off his e30 318i. Before that, he had done tonnes of work to the little thing to bring her up to scratch. Rather than have the engine (which only has 10,ooo km's on it since a full rebuild) go the insurance company, I told him I'd put the feelers out and see if there was an interested buyer. Its 100% stock e30 318i engine, and is good for another 300,ooo km's in the right hands. Anyone intersted?

Would be great for someone with a dead/dieing 318i with a body/chassis too good to wreck. Let me know if you're interested and I can put you in touch.

NOTE: The crash did NO damage to ANY of the engine componants.

ahh if only this was 5 or 6months later because im thinking of restoring a 2002 starting sometime at the end of the year and will be looking for an efi m10 then... haha if ya dont sell before then dont throw that baby out! :P

Id be interested in it, I wouldnt mind having a spare e30 engine, Im also considering a turbo project so this would be ideal. For how much would your friend part with it?
And where abouts are you located?

Hi guys, just an update on the fresh m10... The owner of the car is negotiating a buy back price from the insurance company. They might send it to Auction!! I'll let you know how it goes.
