| Ok listen up i did a 98 e36 window motor the other day @ work with the same problem, Your having problems unscrewing 1 of the 3 screws behind the sliding part of the window regulator. You have to dismantel that motor pull apart the hosing and all the windings once you pull it out the gear will no longer have a load and you can spin it freely. And when your putting the new motor on after you connect the conectors back to the motor if you un plug it again the window must be in the all the way up position. If not the window will think its all the way up @ the leavel it was when it was unpluged this confused me for about 3hrs. And after you put the new motor in the auto up feature will be disabled it must be re calibrated roll the window all the way up hold it for 5 sec let go then push the window buttion up for another 5 sec it should recalibrate it. try it more than once if it doesnt work the first time good luck p.m. me if you have trouble ![]()
