Headlight prob solve

Now to the point, I was driving tonight and it seemed darker, so when I came up to the light I noticed my reflection in the car in front of me, and my headlights weren’t on, my fogs and parking lights were but not the low beams. So I check the switch and it is in the right position. I click it back one to the parking light mode and then back to low beams and they come on. I was like that was weird and for some reason I say “let me click it back one more time to see if it happens again” and sire enough they don’t come back on, and they wont come back on. So I am thinking it is my light switch and plan to take that apart. I am just wondering if that has happened to anyone and if so how have you fixed it

Yeah.. its the switch. you need a new one. -JinX

maybe there's just a short somewhere... check the wires behind the switch.

if it was a short... then it probably would have blown the fuse and they wouldnt work at all. But i suppose it can't hurt to check! -JinX

If i had a short and blew a fuse, would that trip the check on my obc

might, or it might not. You could check your headlight fuses, the label should be on the underside of the fusebox cover. -JinX

yes it would, im proned to think more along the lines of a faulty switch......

well i fixed it and it was the low beam relay, also took care of some other little things (glove box fix too)
