<b>In about 2 weeks I am giving my twin turbo motor the boot....well let me clarify not the boot boot but a swap boot. I am putting in a 1992 alpina B10 Bi-turbo motor...fully built motor from head to toe and rated as one of the best turbo motors of our class and era.

My current motor:

SPecs: 1989 3.5L stock internals, stock head...117,000 miles
208 bhp stock 220 ftlbs trq
424 RWHP @ 17psi 453ftlbs RWTRQ 22psi max
309 RWHP @ 9psi 350+ftlbs RWTRQ
8.5.1 comp ratio

This is what the new motor looks like.

Specs: 1992 Alpina 3.5L turbo motor 15, 000 miles
stock hp: 360Bhp @ 11.5psi 388ftlbs TRQ
7:2.1 comp ratio fully built
est 500+RWHP @ 22psi 500+ftlbs RWTRQ

Then the motor I have in my baby now will be going into my 325 convertible after I finish tuning the turbo motor in there now.

Spec: 1989 2.5L motor 75,000 miles
168bhp stock
est 380+RWHP 350+ ftlbd RWTRQ</b>

I am in the process of contemplating something similar but I'm a bit sceptical since this will be my first time swapping engines. I have a 90 525i that was recently in an accident so rather than fixing the body I'm planning to get an e30 body and stuff my 525 motor in it. Now, does the 525 motor fit the e30 body without modifications?

Just in a different chassis.....so you will have no problem.....

yes, all of ur engines r very pimp, like everyone else is saying, "i give u props for doing that", because lots of guys want to throw single or twin turbos in them but they dont got the money, or the balls to try it, so it looks like u really know what ur doing, so good luck sendin ur car to the doc in 2 weeks, tell us how it goes.
