| another shot of Tuna Canyon For those who don't know, Tuna canyon is small stretch of road in the Malibu canyons. It is One way for the last two miles, all downhill. When it goes one way it is only a car and a half width wide. There are cement barriers on the outside of increasing radius turns that drop 10-15 feet within the corner. The barriers are there to keep you from going off the road and down a steep hillside. If you ever have the chance, take a run down it, just make sure your brakes are up to the challenge. They will be smoking and you will smell them at the end of the run. Some of the staights you can reach 65 before having to stomp on them to take a 10-15 mph corner.
