How would you react to this.......

Ok, you're getting on an escalator thats empty, you step on, and then someone steps on the SAME freakin step, i mean the escalator is completely empty..now you're side by side.

<--- i feel like doing that to them...i mean do you step down or up one to avoid awkwardness

this has happened to me 3 times and i was like "uhhh" wierd..i mean who the hell does that??..i usually just start to walk down the stairs, but i'm taking the escalator cuz i don't want to walk and am just plain lazy....just an early morning thought

its kinda funny, cuz you HAVE to look over to see who it is, you can't just stare straight ahead and when you are both just looking at each other about inches away it kinda feels retarded

yeah, i hate it too when people do that...kinda like whenever i park in an empty parking lot and someone comes and parks right next to me...

A few times that has happened to me. The lot will be completely empty and somebody parks right beside you. One guy parked so close I could barely open my door. I was like WTF? go find another spot.

This isn't an escalator story, but an elevator one.

I used to work on the 5th floor of this building. I happened to work with my long time friend (Brian). Well everytime someone gets on an elevator, they always turn around and face the door (it's the common and most logical thing to do). Not my friend Brian; he actually stood with his back to the doors and stared at everyone.

Everyone on the elevator wanted to laugh so hard but no one wanted to say anything. Everyone thought he was mentally retarded or something.

It's funny though, you all should try it. He ended up doing this every day on the way to work.

Lean against the rail and do a smiley nod. If it's a guy, then you can just look around or walk away, pretending that you just realized that you're late for something.

If it's a girl, I am sure you know what to do.

Ride the escalator backwards...just don't fall at the top...
